We passed by for a snack, I tried the Bratkartoffeln and my friend ordered a cheese cake and Johannesberry juice. Can't go much wrong with these orders i suppose but the food along with the ambience was nice. They definitely have room for large crowds.
It's located at the end/start of a short (4-5km) trail so it was a perfect end.
The cakes here are nice! We love coming here for afternoon tea and then walk around the property in the woods. The setting outdoors now during summer is well-spaced so really good and safe in terms of social distancing/Covid safety. Most of the waitstaff wore masks but two of them didn't which made me feel uncomfortable. I hope they do ask all waitstaff to wear masks in the future.
Gorgeous location on the water and the local fish dishes we tried were fresh and delicious. Lots of space for kids for run around.
Nice garden place.
I've been there for coffee many times and can highly recommend it. The cake is very good and my favorite is the coachman cake. In the warm season you can sit outside and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. On weekends it is better to reserve a place.
